PPI PVC GENERIC RANGE COMPOSITION

The PPI PVC Generic Range Composition was developed back in 1983, the HSB proposed to establish a single, generic and public PVC Range Composition (PPI PVC GRC) which then included all PVC resins and ingredients which had been qualified in privately held compositions of the same kind. In 1985, the PPI PVC GRC and related policies were agreed upon and are published in the PPI TR-2 report. Since that time many new alternate ingredients have been qualified for use in this composition.

PPI HSB TR-2 Listing Program includes the following:

• PVC Resins: mass and suspension
• Ingredients: Calcium Stearate, Paraffin Wax, Polyethylene Wax, Titanium Dioxide, Calcium Carbonate (coated and uncoated), Process Aid, Heat Stabilizers, Colorants (dry powders and liquid), Functional Equivalents, Combination or Functional Equivalent Packages.
